#21 Margate to Ramsgate

We decided to go away for the weekend to celebrate Pemi’s 9 month birthday. We were exhausted from months of sickness, getting used to the new life in day care and work, and were craving a change in scenery. We stayed in a little Airbnb in Margate, went for a nice long walk along the coastal path to Ramsgate, had some spectacular Skrei cod for dinner in a pub and enjoyed some running. The weather was cold and wet and misty and we were all definitely still feeling a bit sick, but it was nice to be away. On our walk we saw some beautiful chalk cliffs and watched the tide come in as the hours passed. We had a picnic as big waves crashed next to us. We finished in Ramsgate where Andrew and Jasmine finished a two-day run in 2022 along the coast from Dover.
