#22 Filled the soul cup in the Upper Lea valley

Following the amazing walk we had on WAP #11 in the upper Lea valley we decided to go back north to cover another section of the river path… and visit our new favorite bakery in Wheathampstead again. We started in Luton (at the airport) and walked along the Lea to Wheathampstead and then turned south to revisit Noman’s land and Heartwood forest on our way to the station in Harpenden. It was an amazing day! Gorgeous English summer skies: blue with towering cumulus clouds. The spring foliage coming in with a dazzling green. And then the magical surprise of peak bluebell season: forest floors covered in purple blue haze, impossible to capture. We felt so rejuvenated by the journey!
